On 8 June 2023, Deputy Foreign Minister Wojciech Gerwel attended a ministerial meeting of the Global Coalition against Daesh in Riyadh, chaired by the heads of diplomacy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, and the United States, Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

The deputy minister was accompanied by the Political Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Witold Sobków.
