Saudi Arabia entry requirements - June 2021

We encourage you to check information on the current requirements of the Saudi authorities to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
KSA - Entry requirements:
From May 30th Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ended the suspension of travel into the Kingdom from the following Countries: UAE, Germany, USA, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Great Britain, Sweden, Switzerland, France and Japan. Travelers from Poland can also enter the Kingdom from (for example) Netherlands and Qatar. Tourist traffic is still suspended. The Ministry of Interior opened land, sea, and air borders, allowing vaccinated Saudi citizens and their kids under 18 years old to travel outside of the Kingdom.
- PCR test
All arriving guests must provide negative PCR test certificate which does not exceed (72) hours from the time the test is undertaken until entering the Kingdom.
- Institutional quarantine
Arriving guests are subject to a one-week institutional quarantine (at their own expense) in government-approved accommodation upon arrival to KSA.
The following groups of people are excluded from the new rules regarding institutional quarantine:
- Immune travelers and their kids under 18 years old (see definition below);
- Official delegations;
- Those holding diplomatic visas, diplomats and their families residing with them;
- Airline crew, sea crew;
- Truck drivers and their assistants from all ports;
- Those involved in health supply chains, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health;
- Saudi citizens, citizens’ spouses, sons and daughters of citizens, and domestic workers accompanying any of the aforementioned groups. Non-immune travelers in this category must comply with a home quarantine for a period of 7 days and are allowed to take a PCR test on the 6th day of quarantine;
- Unvaccinated domestic workers accompanying a vaccinated resident. Non-immune travelers in this category must comply with a home quarantine for a period of 7 days and are allowed to take a PCR test on the 6th day of quarantine;
- Immune Travelers
Immune Travelers (as defined by Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation - GACA):
- Saudi citizens or residents: the Tawakkalna application shows their status as “immune” ;
- Non-residents and first-time visitors: travelers who have completed 14 days since receiving all doses of a vaccination authorized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, i.e.;
- two doses of the Pfizer/-BioNTech vaccine,
- two doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine,
- two doses of the Moderna vaccine,
- one dose of the Jansen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine;
Travelers in this category must provide a certificate or proof of vaccination in accordance with the requirements set by the Ministry of Health.
- Medical insurance and Vaccination Registration
Medical insurance: All Non-Immune guests travelers who intend visiting the Kingdom must have medical insurance that covers the costs of COVID-19 treatment in outpatient clinics recognized by Saudi Arabia officials.
Vaccination Registration: The Government of Saudi Arabia has created a web portals for travelers to the Kingdom to register their vaccination data to expedite entry procedures into the Kingdom:
