Poland in Saudi Arabia

On 3 May 2023, a reception was held at the residence of the Polish Ambassador on the occasion of the National Day of the Third of May, at which the guest of honor was the Deputy Governor of Riyadh Province, Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Guests from the Saudi side included: Director of the Department for Diplomatic Missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Al Rashid, Member of the Shura Parliament, Chairman of the Saudi-Polish Parliamentary Committee, Haza Al Qahtani and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in Jeddah, Hassan Al Attar.

The event was very well attended, with about 300 people from the diplomatic corps, the business community, as well as the local Polish community. The event was highlighted by a concert by Witold Wnuk and Sylwia Stańczyk, as well as a performance by children from the Polish Social School in Riyadh, who presented Polish folk dances.
