The National Independence and Polish Army Day Reception

On November 12, 2023, a reception was held at the residence of the Polish Ambassador in Riyadh on the occasion of National Independence Day, as well as Polish Army Day, organized by Polish defense attaché with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland.
The guest of honor was a representative of the Saudi Ministry of Defense Major General Awad Al Zahrani, acting director of Royal Saudi Air Force Training Department, who was accompanied by Brigade General Saeed Al Shehri. The reception was attended by many representatives of the diplomatic corps, Polish community, businessmen, as well as 11 Saudi officers who graduated from Polish military academies in 2021.
Defense Attache Col. Dr. Artur Rochnowski, along with Polish Ambassador Robert Rostek, gave speeches on the importance of the holiday being celebrated, as well as the Polish Army, and then presented the invited guests with gifts in gratitude for the ongoing cooperation.
