We are telling the World about Poland

As part of this initiative, scientists, historians and politicians share their thoughts on the recent history of Poland.
We present to you a series of articles referring to the 50th anniversary of December 1970 and the 39th anniversary of the introduction of martial law in Poland, which at the same time explain the different historical experiences of Central and Eastern Europe and Western Europe. We would like to introduce 5 articles:
1. Prof. Renato CRISTIN Europe must absolutely condemn communism and its related criminal ideology
BIO: Professor at the University of Trieste in Italy, former director of the Berlin Italian Culture Institute and former research director at Fondazione Liberal in Rome
2. Bernard GUETTA – IMAGE Communism was indefensible
BIO: French Member of the European Parliament (Renew Europe). In 1978-1980, journalist with "Le Monde" specialising in Central Europe; later, head of "L’Expansion" and "Le Nouvel Observateur ."
3. prof. Zdzisław Krasnodębski Imperial tempting of Europe
bio: Polish sociologist, social philosopher, publicist and professor at the University of Bremen (Germany), who has been a Member of the European Parliament since the 2014 election.
4. Jarosław Szarek We are deeply aware of our shared history

5. Prof. Michel WIEVIORKA Common experiences bringing the countries of Central Europe together
BIO: French sociologist, professor at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris, author of, among other, “L’antisémitisme”, “Le racism” and “Neuf leçons de sociologie”.
