50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and Thailand

On 26th September, within the framework of the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and Thailand, the extraordinary concert of Polish and Thai artists took place in one of the most prestigious Thai higher education institutions, Mahidol University.
In their remarks, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Thailand, Waldemar Dubaniowski and Director-General, Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Asi Mamanee emphasized that the successful relations spanning much longer than five decades of the formal cooperation. Ambassador W. Dubaniowski highlighted Polish support for Ukraine that suffered the Russian aggression and appreciated humanitarian assistance from Thailand including the participation in the High Level International Donors Conference for Ukraine in Warsaw.
The programme included performances by San Jittakarn and Rit Subsomboon, representatives of Thailand at the 18th International F. Chopin Piano Competition and the 5th International F. Chopin Competition for Amateur Pianists in Warsaw, respectively. The pianists were accompanied on the cello by Marcin Szawelski, a Polish musician from Mahidol University. Thai choir performed a composition by F. Chopin's composition "Spring" in Polish.
