Education cooperation – Thailand joins the exchange programme Zawacka NAWA

Polish educational mission took part in one of the most prestigious fair and conference APAIE 2023 between 13 and 16 March in Bangkok.

Poland was represented by officials of National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN) and seven higher education institutions (Medical University of Gdańsk, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Silesian University of Technology, University of Economics in Katowice, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Jagiellonian University and Warsaw University of Business).

Polish Ambassador W. Dubaniowski altogether with Director P. Skrodzki MEiN and Director Dr D. Kostecki NAWA took part in opening of Polish stand on APAIE 2023 which was very popular with participants.

On 17.03 the Embassy of Poland in Bangkok hosted the meeting with participants of Polish delegation in order to discuss opportunities stemming from further enhancement of Polish-Thai cooperation in the field of education.

The direct outcome of talks between representatives of Polish NAWA and MEIN and Thai Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation is scholarship offer in the form of one year scholarship for Thai students coming to Poland on basis of Polish-Thai bilateral cooperation agreement (Zawacka NAWA programme).

Applications should be addressed to the Thai Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation which cooperates with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the Kingdom of Thailand in accepting applications.
