Maestro Krzysztof Penderecki’s Tree in Bangkok

Polish Ambassador Waldemar Dubaniowski and Ms Ewa Dubaniowska accompanied by the Director Wirat Manassanitwong from the BMA’s Environment Department have planted Polish Maestro Krzysztof Penderecki’s Tree in Lumpini Park, the biggest and most famous park in Bangkok
The historical moment has been witnessed by number of our Friends including EU Ambassador David Daly and Spouse, Bangkok Chopin Society, Nat Yontararak and Family, Dean of Mahidol University, Representatives of Thai Ministry of Culture.
Newly planted Gardenia has been marked by a plaque with QR code directing to virtual #PendereckisGarden by Institute of Adam Mickiewicz.
Part of the celebration was a concert performed by young artists from Bangkok Chopin Society.
