Poland-Thailand Business Forum

Over a hundred entrepreneurs and representatives of business institutions attended “Poland-Thailand Business Forum”, an event organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bangkok together with Polish Investment and Trade Agency to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Poland and Thailand.

The event was opened by Ambassador Waldemar Dubaniowski, President of Polish Investment and Trade Agency Krzysztof Drynda and Deputy Secretary General of Thailand Board of Investment Wirat Tatsaringkanskul.

The forum aimed to promote Polish business and investments in Thailand, as well as to present Poland as the optimal location for Thai investors interested in entering the European Union markets. During the meeting, representatives of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency presented attractive conditions for doing business in Poland and business representatives shared their experience related to investing and doing business in Poland and Thailand.

The speakers from the Polish business side included representatives of Mercator Medical, the largest Polish investor in Thailand, Comarch, CShark and TIAS law firm. Representatives of the largest Thai investors in Poland - Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF), Indorama Ventures and Thai Union Group - shared their positive experience of operating in Poland.

The forum was enthusiastically received by numerous guests, who included representatives of Polish and Thai business, chambers of commerce and business support institutions. The event was held at the prestigious Kandhavas Place of the Athenee Hotel on 29th November 2022.
