Polish book “Breakdown at the power plant” by T. Oziewicz and R. Kaczmarska is available for Lao children at the Lao National Library.

10 European storybooks for Lao children 1

It will be accessible in number of provincial libraries in Laos.

Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bangkok, the EU Delegation in Lao PDR and Publishing House Dwie Siostry have jointly implemented the project in order to promote Polish culture. The book has been translated into Lao and printed in 1000 copies.

It was part of “10 European Storybooks for Lao children” initiated and coordinated by the EU Delegation in Lao PDR.

The project has been officially launched on 25 January 2022 at the Lao National Library with participation of Lao officials, students and influencers.
