18.09.2024

Are you planning to study in Poland? Learn how to prepare your visa application and book a visit at the consulate.

MSZ Gmach

5 easy steps to get a visa:

  1. Legalize your document confirming your eligibility to undertake further level of studies at the local MFA office and then at the consulate. Remember! The consul only legalizes originals and official copies of documents. You can find out more on the Legalisation - Poland in Thailand.
  2. Contact the university in Poland and get the original certificate of admission to studies.

Ask for the original document to be sent by post. The consul does not accept photocopies or scans of the certificate for the visa procedure.

  1. Prepare the necessary documents for the visa application. Check the information on the website Visa D-type national visa. At the bottom of the page you will find an attachment with a list of required documents.

4. Make an appointment in e-Konsulat by choosing one of the following services (available starting from 22 July 2024):

  • National visa - studies
  • National visa - doctoral studies, exchange programs, ERASMUS, NAWA, ECS, Horizon

Important! Since 1 October 2024 students applying for first yead and continuation of studies (I and II degree) shall choose the service "National visa - studies". Book your visit according to the purpose of your declared trip. Otherwise, the consul will refuse to accept your application.

New appointments are opened every Monday at 10.00 a.m.

5. On the day of your visit submit all documents, including a printed and signed application form, and pay the visa fee.

Processing will take up to 15 days.

Check what to do after receiving a visa

If you received a visa refusal, you have the right to apply for a reconsideration of the visa application within 14 days from the date when you received the refusal decision.

To apply for a reconsideration, you do not need to register for an appointment in our online system. Simply come to the Embassy on Monday or Wednesday between 11:00 and 11:45 and submit your documents. If you cannot come on these days or at those times, send us an email and we will offer you an alternative date.

The consular fee for reconsideration is the same amount as for the original visa application, to be paid in cash at the Embassy.
