Poland co-chairs the Informal Working Group on Program and Budget Committee issues of UNIDO (IWG PBC)

Mr. Henryk Czubek, Counsellor and UNIDO Team Leader at the Permanent Mission of the Republic Poland to the United Nations Office in Vienna was appointed as co-chair of the Informal Working Group on Program and Budget Committee issues of UNIDO (IWG PBC).
Mr. Czubek, as a representative of the EU, Western European Group and Eastern European Group will act jointly with the second co-chair, Mr. Mohammad Reza Ghaebi, Deputy Permanent Representative at Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the International Organizations in Vienna.
Currently, the main task of the IWG PBC is to elaborate opinions and decisions to be adopted by the policymaking organs of UNIDO in respect of organisation’s budget for 2022-2022.
The Group is an advisory body established by the decision of Industrial Development Board of UNIDO in 2017.
