01.12.2021Logo contest – unveiling of the winnerWe are delighted to inform that we have received over 500 entries for the logo contest commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and Australia. The artistic level of the submitted artworks was very high, however, the Contest Committee has unanimously selected the logo designed by Mr. Maciej Kwaśniewski from Szczecin, Poland.

23.10.2021The 18th International Chopin Piano CompetitionThe 18th Chopin Piano Competition takes place in Warsaw on 2-23 October. It commenced with the Gala Opening Concert, followed by the four stages of competition, after which the winners will be announced on 20 October. The competition will be broadcast online on the Fryderyk Chopin Institute’s website and YouTube channel.

The presentation of diplomatic credentials took place on 16 September 2021. Due to travel restrictions between Australia and the Pacific country caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony took place virtually.
