On the evening of 28 November, on the section protected by the Border Guard post in Mielnik, a group of over 30 people attempted to force through the Polish-Belarusian border.

Aggressive foreign citizens tried to get to the Polish side. They destroyed the border fence and threw stones towards Polish forces. Belarusian soldiers who accompanied the group used flashlights and a laser. During the attempt to force the border, the group of foreigners managed to cross the barrier using a specially prepared wooden footbridge. Thanks to quick and effective actions, all the persons were detained and brought to the state border line.
