The talks centred on the current situation in the European Union, including its reform and enlargement process. Migration challenges were also discussed.

Furthermore, Deputy Minister Prawda met with members of the Foreign Policy Committee of Austria's National Council, including with its Chairman, Christoph Matznetter. The main topic debated at the parliament was the need to provide solid support for Ukraine. The meeting was the opportunity to discuss transatlantic relations, ties with Israel, and migration policy.

During his visit to Vienna, Deputy Minister Prawda took part in a panel discussion titled “Poland's European policy 20 years after the accession: priorities of the new Polish government”, attended by Austria's former chancellor, Wolfgang Schüssel.

While in Vienna, Undersecretary Marek Prawda reiterated on a number of occasions that supporting Ukraine is now a “matter of decency”. He also pointed out to the shift in the EU's policy in the wake of the war, as there is an evident need for expertise from Central and Eastern Europe's member states. Because of the current challenges to Europe's security, the EU is increasingly becoming a “community of destiny” for its member states.
