As part of the visit, the deputy foreign minister held political consultations at the US Department of State where he talked to Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Arms Control, Verification, and Compliance Mallory Stewart. 

Deputy Minister Arkadiusz Mularczyk also met with members of the House of Representatives. Moreover, he visited the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., and laid flowers on the grave of Jan Karski, an emissary of the Polish Underground State.

While in New York, the deputy head of Polish diplomacy visited the Piłsudski Institute of America to meet with representatives of the Polish community in the US.
