Dominika Krois becomes the new Permanent Representative of Poland to the UN Office and International Organisations in Vienna

On behalf of President Andrzej Duda, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz has presented Dominika Krois, Ph.D. with a nomination as the Permanent Representative of Poland to the UN Office and International Organisations in Vienna.
Dominika Krois graduated from Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University and received a Ph.D. in law at the same university in 2006. She is also a graduate of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna.
For the past 20 years, Dominika Krois has been employed with the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In this period she completed the diplomatic and consular training, worked at the Polish Embassy in Berlin (2001-2005) and the Permanent Representation of Poland to the UN Office and International Organisations in Vienna (2006-2010). She was also a deputy chair of the Conference of the States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption and the Convention against Transnational Organized Crime. Ms Krois also worked at the departments of the European Union, Legal and Treaty Affairs, and Foreign Policy Strategy and Planning. More recently, she joined the European External Action Service, first at the Delegation of the European Union to the International Organisations in Vienna (2011-2015) and then as the OSCE coordinator (2015-2019).
