Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz to visit USA

On 12-13 June, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz is going to visit the United States.
On Wednesday, 12 June, Minister Czaputowicz will accompany President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda during his official visit to Washington on the invitation of US President Donald Trump. The agenda of the day includes meetings of delegations led by the presidents of Poland and the US. The participants will review the implementation of arrangements made in the “Declaration on Strategic Cooperation between the United States of America and the Republic of Poland” of September 2018, sum up the arrangements on the planned increased presence of US troops in Poland, and discuss the perspectives and long-term priorities of Polish-American cooperation.
On Thursday, 13 June, Minister Czaputowicz will visit New York to take part in a UN Security Council briefing on the UN-League of Arab States cooperation. UN Secretary-General António Guterres and Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit will join the discussion on the current European and Arab challenges, including terrorism and extremism, that threaten international peace and security. On the sidelines of the Security Council briefing, Minister Czaputowicz will also hold several bilateral meetings.
