Foreign ministers of Visegrad Group and Western Balkans to meet in Rogalin

On Monday, 28 June 2021, foreign ministers of the V4 and Western Balkans will meet under the Polish presidency of the Visegrad Group. Hosted by Minister Zbigniew Rau, the event will also be attended by Croatia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, as well as the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues. The diplomats will convene in a Baroque palace located in the Rogalin landscape park near Poznań.

The most important issues to be discussed during the event include the EU enlargement policy, cooperation in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and post-pandemic recovery, as well as strengthening regional partnership.

Prior to the meeting in Rogalin, heads of the delegations will lay wreaths at the Monument of Poznań June 1956.

The V4 + Western Balkans format was launched by Poland in 2012. Since then, meetings in this format have been organised regularly at the invitation of a V4 country that currently holds the rotating presidency of the Visegrad Group.
