During the meeting, Foreign Ministers Zbigniew Rau and Nikos Dendias will discuss prospects for enhancing cooperation in the context of the international security situation and at the level of bilateral relations, including as regards trade as well as tourist, cultural, and scientific exchange. In the context of the war in Ukraine, Greece has consistently supported the Ukrainian nation, which is why Poland wants to strengthen cooperation with its Mediterranean partner in this area. The diplomats will also talk about energy crisis in Europe and worrying tensions in the East Mediterranean.

This will be Minister Dendias’s first visit to Poland since he took up the post of Greece’s minister of foreign affairs.
