Meeting with Angolan ambassador to Poland

“Angola is our priority partner in Africa. We would like to give a new impetus to our economic cooperation, specifically as regards transport, building industry, fishery, and mining,” Minister Jacek Czaputowicz said at a meeting with Feliciano António dos Santos, Angola’s Ambassador to Poland.
The today’s meeting focused on bilateral relations and economic cooperation. Other topics included prospects for the development of higher education and the Academy of Fisheries and Marine Sciences in Namibe, which was established thanks to funds from the Polish government loan.
Minister Jacek Czaputowicz also declared that Poland is willing to further cooperate with Angola to advance democratic and economic reforms, also by sharing Polish local authorities’ experiences which could be useful for local government units that are now being set up in Angola.
It was the first meeting between Minister Jacek Czaputowicz and Ambassador Feliciano António dos Santos after he started his diplomatic mission in Poland in January 2020.
