Minister Czaputowicz to visit Norway

Security policy, energy cooperation, and cooperation in European policy and Eastern issues will be the focus of the chief of Polish diplomacy’s visit to Oslo on 8 May 2019.

During his one-day visit to the Kingdom of Norway, the Polish foreign minister will meet with his Norwegian counterpart, Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide, representatives of the Norwegian-Polish Friendship Group, and parliamentarians of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence at the Norwegian parliament (Storting).

Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will also lay a wreath at the monument to Polish airmen at Vestre Gravlund cemetery.

The head of the Polish MFA will also deliver a lecture at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) on the challenges to European security from Poland’s perspective and will meet with members of the Polish community in Norway at a reception organised by the Polish Embassy in Oslo to mark 3 May Constitution Day.
