Minister Jacek Czaputowicz attends the 129th session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe

Reinforcing the Council of Europe in the face of current challenges and finding ways to overcome the ongoing political, institutional and financial crisis will be the main topics discussed during the next session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Helsinki.

Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will also take part in ceremonies commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe, an organisation that is commonly regarded as a guardian of demoractic principles, the rule of law and human rights in Europe and which today has 47 member States from our continent.

During the 129th session of the Committee of Ministers on 16-17 May 2019, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will place his signature on behalf of the Republic of Poland on the Protocol amending the Council of Europe’s Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data.
