Minister Jacek Czaputowicz to visit Brussels

On 13-14 May, Poland’s top diplomat will take part in the Foreign Affairs Council and in a ministerial meeting and a high level conference held to mark the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership.
In Brussels, the EU foreign ministers will discuss the situation in Libya and the Sahel region. During the FAC session, Minister Czaputowicz will also outline the outcomes of the ministerial meeting of the Berlin Process, which took place in Warsaw on 11-12 April and the preparations for the Western Balkans Summit, scheduled for 4-5 July in Poznan.
On Monday, the Polish foreign policy chief will attend a meeting of the foreign ministers of the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries, held on the sidelines of the Council to mark the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership. On Tuesday, Minister Czaputowicz will speak at a panel devoted to the achievements and challenges of the Eastern Partnership at a high level conference convened to discuss the Eastern Partnership programme. Together with his Lithuanian counterpart Linas Linkevicius, Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will also present the winners of a student contest for the best essay on the future of the Eastern Partnership with honorary diplomas.
