15.06.2019
On Monday, 17 June, the foreign minister will take part in a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg. The following day, he will visit Berlin, where he will deliver a lecture at the Humboldt University.
The key issues to be discussed by EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg will be the efficiency of the Common Foreign and Security Policy, the implementation of the EU Global Strategy and the situation in Sudan and Jordan. The Council will also address the recent developments in Venezuela, Moldova, Iran and the Persian Gulf.
On 18 June, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will be in Berlin to deliver a lecture on the Polish vision of the European Union – a strong, democratic and efficient Union. The Humboldt-Reden series of lectures organised at the Humboldt University continue to be popular among outstanding European politicians and attract the attention of a wide public. The series of these lectures was started in 2000 by the then Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer. In 2006, the late President Lech Kaczyński delivered a lecture at the Humboldt University.
