Minister Jacek Czaputowicz to visit Romania

On Wednesday, 9 January, the chief of Polish diplomacy will be visiting Bucharest to meet with Foreign Minister Teodor Viorel Meleşcanu.
They will be discussing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries in the area of security policy, including in the framework of NATO and in different regional formats. The ministers will also cover issues relating to the growing Polish-Romanian economic cooperation and the prospects for further enhancing its growth.
The discussion will also focus on Polish-Romanian cooperation as part of the European Union, specifically in the context of the Romanian Presidency of the EU Council in the first half of 2019. The ministers will address topics on the current European Union agenda, including energy policy and migration policy.
During his visit to Bucharest, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will also meet with Romania’s Prime Minister Viorica Dăncila.
