Minister Jacek Czaputowicz to visit the Republic of Korea
04.10.2019
On 6-8 October Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will visit the Republic of Korea in connection with the inauguration of the cybersecurity working group meeting. The group operates within the framework of the so-called Warsaw Process that was launched in Warsaw in February 2019 during a conference on building peace and security in the Middle East.
During his visit to Seoul, Minister Czaputowicz will also hold bilateral talks with his Korean counterpart, Kang Kyung-wha. It will be the third meeting of Foreign Ministers of Poland and the Republic of Korea this year. Minister Czaputowicz will also meet the Minister for Unification, Kim Yeon-chul and security experts, as well as representatives of Korean academics, including Korean teachers of the Polish language at Hankuk University and Poles living in this country.
Minister Czaputowicz’s talks with representatives of the Republic of Korea will provide an opportunity to summarise the bilateral political and economic cooperation between the two countries as well as exchange views on security issues on the Korean Peninsula.
