Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will visit Berlin on Thursday

A meeting with the chief of German diplomacy, participation in a renowned European Forum organised by the WDR television station and a visit to the Topography of Terror Documentation Centre will be the highlights of Minister Czaputowicz’s visit to the German capital on 23 May.
During a one-day visit to Germany, Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will meet with his German counterpart Heiko Maas. They will discuss preparations for the Western Balkans Summit in Poznan, the current state of work under the Warsaw Process and the EU on the eve of elections to the European Parliament. The ministers will also discuss the programme of Minister Maas’s next visit to Warsaw, which will take place on 1 August, on the 75th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising.
The chief of Polish diplomacy will later take part in an official inauguration of the 22nd International WDR Europaforum and will deliver a speech on “Shaping Europe together – for a value-based European Union. A confident Europe should also display the features of international confidence.”
During his Berlin visit, Minister Czaputowicz will also meet with members of the Executive Board of the Körber Foundation and will pay a visit to the Topography of Terror Documentation Centre, where he will hold talks with the Museum’s director, Professor Andreas Nachama.
