On 24 May, Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau will pay a working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany at the invitation of the German side. The visit will involve political consultations in Berlin between Poland’s chief diplomat and Germany’s Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
During the talks, the Polish and the German heads of diplomacy will have an opportunity to discuss key issues in bilateral cooperation, particularly in the context of Russia’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine. The head of the Polish MFA will present Poland’s position on the security situation in Eastern Europe. Also on the agenda is the signing by the two countries’ top diplomats of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on the provision of financial support to the International Youth Meeting Centre run by the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe.
