On Tuesday, the first day of the Forum, the head of Polish diplomacy met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to discuss the strengthening of the North Atlantic Alliance’s Eastern flank in the context of Russia’s ongoing aggression in Ukraine. They also raised the effective implementation of decisions from the NATO Summit in Vilnius.

Today, Foreign Minister Sikorski had the opportunity to speak with his Czech counterpart, Jan Lipavský, about such issues as cooperation within the Visegrad Group.

The officials also spoke about this year marking two important anniversaries connecting Poland and the Czech Republic: the two countries’ 25th anniversary of accession to the North Atlantic Alliance as well as 15th anniversary of joining the European Union.
