The Polish Ambassador conveyed the compliments to Memorial, an institution which has been spreading knowledge on Stalinist crimes and defending human rights in Russia for over three decades, on behalf of Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau.

 In a congratulatory letter, Ambassador Krajewski emhasised the Memorial Society’s invaluable contribution to the development of civil society in Russia, the unwavering commitment of its members to uncovering historical truth, as well as the Organisation’s undeniable services to Polish-Russian relations, as clearly evidenced by long-standing efforts to promote knowledge about the Katyn massacre.
