The meeting was part of the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ “Sports and Culture Diplomacy Programme”. The aim of the programme is to empower the local youth, creating a prospect of individual development and opportunities for education and career in the fields of sports and art. Poland is among 50 countries visited by young Colombians. During this year’s ninth round, the participants’ training session was supervised by the representatives of the Academic Sports Association of the University of Physical Education in Warsaw. Two friendly matches were also organised in Spanish-language secondary schools in Poland’s capital. Additionally, the visit provided an opportunity to discover Polish culture as well as to explore Warsaw and Cracow.

In their talks with Deputy Minister Jakub Wiśniewski, the young volleyball players summed up the experiences gained during their stay in Poland.
