Polish-Colombian political consultations in Warsaw at the level of deputy ministers

The 10th round of political consultations between Poland and Colombia at the level of deputy ministers took place on July 21st, 2023 in Warsaw. Consultations were led by the Head of the Foreign Service, Arkady Rzegocki, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, Francisco José Coy Granados.
A number of bilateral issues were discussed, including economic, cultural and scientific matters, tourism activities, as well as a sports diplomacy project. Potential areas for new cooperation were also talked about, such as green technology.
The talks also concerned multilateral matters, including EU-Colombia relations as well as regional and global issues.
The parties summed up the European Union – Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) summit, which took place in Brussels on 17-18 July this year. The next summit will be organized in Bogota in 2025, when Poland and Colombia will hold the presidency of these organizations respectively.
