Polish MFA hosts meeting with Vice-president of International Committee of the Red Cross

On Thursday, 10 October 2024, Undersecretary of State Henryka Mościcka-Dendys met in Warsaw with Vice-president of the International Committee of the Red Cross Gilles Carbonnier.
Poland attaches great importance to the Committee’s activity and respecting international humanitarian law. During the meeting, representatives of the ICRC reported on the tasks being carried out and challenges faced during the ongoing military conflicts. Deputy Minister Mościcka-Dendys presented her guests with copies of the Fifth Report on the Implementation and Dissemination of International Humanitarian Law in the Republic of Poland in 2019–2023, a periodical paper co-authored by the MFA and other ministries and non-governmental entities. The deputy minister underlined that the purpose of the Report is to continue reviewing the compliance of domestic legislation and practice with the norms of international humanitarian law.
