The head of Polish diplomacy has begun his two-day visit to Prague with a meeting with Minister Jan Lipavský.
Poland-Czechia consultations have confirmed that the two countries speak with one voice on a number of important issues. The foreign ministers’ discussion covered bilateral relations as well as regional cooperation and issues of vital importance to security in Europe. One of these is the multidimensional support for Ukraine, in which both Poland and Czechia have been involved since the very beginning of the Russian invasion.
Minister Sikorski confirmed Poland’s joining the Czech initiative to procure ammunition for Ukraine.
Also discussed were joint efforts to tighten sanctions against Russia, including eliminating the ways of circumventing them.
