Donation of books to Abrehot Library
09.11.2022
Ambassador Przemysław Bobak passed a selection of books about Poland and Polish language to Mr. Wubeyaho Mano, director of Abrehot Library.
During the fruitful meeting Ambassador expressed hopes that the Ethiopians would be more interested in Polish affairs soon, to that extent that some of them might even learn the language. Let’s keep fingers crossed for those future heroes - experts on Poland’s history, art, science, culture and language - to hold through this difficult task.
Abrehot Library is the biggest and most modern public library in Ethiopia, opened officially in January 2022, aiming at gathering at least 4 million of books in forthcoming years. Our contribution may mark the beginning of Polish collection, which hopefully will be extended in the future. Only seven countries donated books to the library till date.
