Student Visa Application 2024

Embassy of Poland in Addis Ababa informs that the student visa required documents has been updated. We remind you to carefully prepare all the necessary documents to apply for a Student Visa (D-Type Visa).

Announcement

When applying for a student visa (type-D Visa), remember that one of the required documents is decision of the relevant Education Board in the Voivodeship where you intend to start your studies, regarding the recognition of a secondary school certificate or other certificate from abroad as a document confirming the right to apply for admission to higher education in the Republic of Poland.

Details can be found on the website of the Ministry of National Education. In case of questions and doubts we recommend contacting the concerned Polish university.

IN CASE OF QUESTIONS OR DOUBTS WE RECOMMEND CONTACT WITH THE CONCERNED POLISH UNIVERSITY WHERE THE STUDENT INTENDS TO STUDY. UNFORTUNATELY THE EMBASSY IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY MORE INFORMATION IN THIS MATTER.

Additionally, the Embassy of Poland in Addis Ababa reminds all visa applicants that Ethiopian educational documents submitted in the visa procedure should be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ethiopia.
