30.11.2018Cooperation of employment offices and employersThe unemployment rate remaining at a record low level resulted in a new situation of employment offices. They receive more and more requests from employers, who have difficulty finding candidates. On the other hand, almost 950 thousand persons are still entered in unemployment registers, some for many years. Manners of returning them to the labour market were discussed by employment offices and employers at a meeting organised by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy.

The event was organised on the occasion of the Polish Senior Citizen Day, and it was also attended by Minister Elżbieta Rafalska and Deputy Minister Elżbieta Bojanowska.

The ceremony of signing the Act on Employee Capital Plans was held at the Warsaw Stock Exchange and was participated in by the Minister, Elżbieta Rafalska.

14.11.2018Electronic Sick Leaves (e-ZLA) start off on 1 DecemberTraditional, paper sick leaves will no longer be used. As of 1 December they will be replaced with e-leaves. On Wednesday, 7 November representatives of the management of the Ministry of Family and the Ministry of Health start a series of meetings in all voivodeships, during which doctors and employers will be familiarised with the principles of introducing e-leaves. Meetings will last until the end of November.

14.11.2018New indexation, that is, increases for retired persons and pensioners in 2019“In 2019 we propose a new mechanism of pensions and retirement pensions indexation, an increase in minimum retirement pensions and pensions to PLN 1,100, and the smallest indexation at a level of PLN 70” – informed Elżbieta Rafalska, the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy.
