Family 500 plus, the increase in the minimum wage, introduction of the hourly minimum wage and reconstruction of social dialogue are just some of the changes that have taken place over the last year. We summarise a year of functioning of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy.

Between 7 and 9 November, Minister Elżbieta Rafalska went on a visit to Budapest. She met with Zoltán Balog, Minister of Human Resources of Hungary. 

Poland comes 4th out of 28 countries of the European Union in terms of family support, according to the report of the PwC “Family tax reliefs and benefits in the EU countries.”

The third meeting of the Youth Guarantee Monitoring Team took place in the “Dialog” Centre for Social Partnership. 

On 27 October, Minister Elżbieta Rafalska and Secretary of State Krzysztof Michałkiewicz met with Zornitsa Russinova, Minister of Labour and Social Policy of Bulgaria.

During a special meeting in the Presidential Palace, the Social Dialogue Council summed up a year of its activity. Member of the Council, Minister Elżbieta Rafalska, participating in the meeting, summing up a year of work of the Council, which at that time was supervised by the head of NSZZ “Solidarność,” Piotr Duda, emphasised its high level and said that she was hoping that it would be maintained during the term of office of Henryka Bochniarz, President of the Polish Confederation Lewiatan.

On 18 October 2016, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy, Stanisław Szwed, met with Valeri Kvaratskhelia, Deputy Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.

The meeting of Minister Elżbieta Rafalska with Myriam El Khomri, Minister of Labour, Employment, Vocational Training and Social Dialogue of the French Republic, took place on 12 October 2016.
