Official export support in the form of credit insurance and guarantees is provided in Poland by Export Credits Insurance Corporation Joint Stock Company (Korporacja Ubezpieczeń Kredytów Eksportowych Spółka Akcyjna, KUKE S.A.), supervised by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.

KUKE S.A. is the only institution in Poland offering export insurance backed by the State Treasury. The Corporation has a legal mandate to provide such facilities on the basis of the Act of 7 July 1994 on insurance guaranteed by the State Treasury.
