The Department deals with regulation of individual sectors of the financial market and undertakes activities aimed at maintaining financial stability. It cooperates with the National Bank of Poland and Office of the Financial Supervision Commission within the scope of supporting stability of the domestic financial system. It executes tasks related to the Insurance Guarantee Fund, the Bank Guarantee Fund and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. It conducts negotiations within the scope of regulations at the European Union financial market.
