Participation in IGF 2021
For the first time Poland will host the UN Digital Summit - Internet Governance Forum. The event, organized by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, will be held from 6 to 10 December 2021, at the International Congress Centre in Katowice.
The IGF (Internet Governance Forum) is an international meeting at the initiative of the United Nations that enables a global discussion on the development of the Internet. It is a place to exchange ideas and experiences in the field of Internet governance.
The World Internet Governance Forum 2021 will be attended by legislators, entrepreneurs, academics and NGO representatives. Several thousand people from all over the world will discuss the opportunities and challenges posed by the Internet, as well as ways to fully exploit its potential.
The UN Digital Summit - IGF 2021 will host a debate on, among other things, the future of online platforms. The slogan of this year's conference is Internet United. The Ministry of Finance has signed up to participate in the UN Digital Summit by exhibiting an information booth. Our leading topic is "Influence of the development of Internet on the changes in the Polish public administration on the example of implementation of projects carried out in the Ministry of Finance".
The Internet has a huge impact on changes in the Polish public administration, and the projects implemented by the Ministry of Finance are a great example of that. The Tax Administration offers more and more friendly and modern solutions thanks to which citizens and entrepreneurs have access to fast and convenient e-services from any place and at any time.
