Alicja Kulka - Surveyor General of Poland

On June 26, 2023  Alicja Kulka was appointed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki to the position of the Surveyor General of Poland.

She was appointed as acting Surveyor General of Poland on May 14, 2022.

She was appointed as Deputy Surveyor General of Poland on March 18, 2019.

She graduated from AGH University of Science and Technology and Agricultural University of Cracow, Business College in Piła (postgraduate studies in real estate estimation) and Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice (postgraduate studies in geographic information systems). She gained her professional experience at the Regional Geodetic and Cartographic Company in Katowice. She then ran her own surveying business. She was also, among others, the director of the Real Property Information Department of the Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography, as well as the Surveyor of Tychy and the vice-president of that city for spatial management. Prior to assuming the position of Deputy Surveyor General of Poland, she was Director of the Regional Centre for Geodetic and Cartographic Documentation in Katowice - a budgetary unit of the Silesian Province. From 2016 to 2020 she was a member of the Social and Program Council of the Faculty of Mining and Geology of the Silesian University of Technology and a member of the Convention of the Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. She was also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of a company governed by commercial law. From 2016 to 2020 she was a member of the Social and Program Council of the Faculty of Mining and Geology of the Silesian University of Technology and a member of the Convention of the Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. She was also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of a company governed by commercial law.

Also, she used to be a Chairperson of the Supervisory Board for commercial law company and she is a licensed land surveyor (1,2). She also obtained the Diploma No. 6182/2014 of the Minister of the Treasury as a candidate for the supervisory board of the companies of the Treasury.
