Alicja Kulka nominated Surveyor General of Poland

On June 26, 2023 Alicja Kulka was appointed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki to the position of the Surveyor General of Poland. She received the nomination on June 27, 2023 from the Minister of Development and Technology Waldemar Buda.
From March 18, 2019 Alicja Kulka was the Deputy General Surveyor of the Poland and from May 14, 2022 the acting Surveyor General of Poland.
She is a graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology and the University of Agriculture in Krakow, the University of Business in Piła (post-graduate studies in real estate estimation) and the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice (post-graduate studies in geographic information systems). She gained her professional practice at the Regional Geodetic and Cartographic Company in Katowice.
Then she ran her own land surveying company. She was also, among others, the director of the Real Property Information Department of the Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography, as well as a surveyor of the city of Tychy and vice-president for spatial development of this city.
Before taking the position of the Deputy of the Surveyor General of Poland, she was Director of the Regional Centre for Geodetic and Cartographic Documentation in Katowice - a budgetary unit of the of the Silesian Province. She was a member of the Social and Program Council of the Faculty of Mining and Geology of the Silesian University of Technology and a member of the convention of the Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology of the Wrocław University of Technology from 2016 to 2020. She was also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of a company governed by commercial law.
She is a licensed land surveyor (1,2).
