Visit of delegation from Georgia in Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography

On 15th of September 2022 Acting Surveyor General of Poland Alicja Kulka welcomed delegation from Georgia in Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography. Invited guests were attending XXVII FIG Congress.

During the visit GUGiK employees presented Polish Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) and thoroughly explained functionalities of www.geoportal.gov.pl.  After that Polish hosts answered many detailed questions asked by guests from Georgia and lively discussed presented topics.

The meeting ended with representatives of Georgia’s Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, and National Agency of Public Registry involved in „Irrigation and Land Market Developement Project” presenting Georgia’s accomplishments in cadaster’s development and agricultural consolidation.
