Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography (GUGiK)

The theme of the conference held on 7-8 September was "Unlocking value from data". Representing the Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography(GUGiK) Ewa Surma, Director of the Department of Strategy, Inernational Cooperation and Public Information spoke about www.geoportal.gov.pl service. Thanks to the data made available by GUGiK on the www. geoportal. gov. pl service, the availability of spatial data to the public is increased and the development of businesses is accelerated. Users have the opportunity to useful functionalities and analysis, e.g. searching for different object types (data from BDOT10k). The conference is one of the most important EFGS activities promoting the integration of statistical data with geospatial information in the public sector.
