Ph. D. Anna Bober

Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Paszyk appointed Ph.D. Anna Bober to the position of Deputy Surveyor General of Poland as of May 22, 2024.
Ph.D. Anna Bober is a graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the Military University of Technology, where she obtained a professional master's degree in engineering (specialization in geoinformatics), a doctoral degree (specialization in geographic information systems and cartography) and the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Warmia and Mazury, where she completed postgraduate studies in the field of "Data science in practice".
Since 2008, she has worked at the Central Center for Geodetic and Cartographic Documentation. Since 2017, she has been associated with the Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography, where, among others, she held the positions of Head of the Quality Control Department and Head of the Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Department. Since November 2020, she has been the Director of the Department of Geodesy and Cartography. Ph.D. Anna Bober has extensive experience in acquiring and processing spatial data. She was also a lecturer and trainer of GIS software and a co-executor in scientific and other projects in the field of geodesy and cartography. She is the author and co-author of scientific publications.
