Inauguration of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union was officially inaugurated at the residence of the Polish Ambassador in New Delhi. The event brought together numerous representatives of the diplomatic corps, Indian administration, business, and academia.
The ceremony was opened by Mr. Sebastian Domżalski, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Poland in India, who, in his speech, emphasized security as one of the key priorities of the Polish Presidency. He also highlighted the role of collaboration between the European Union and India in fostering stability and addressing global challenges. His remarks were followed by the EU Ambassador to India, Hervé Delphin, who expressed his support for the Presidency's priorities.
The evening also featured a presentation of traditional Polish dishes and food products, including the famous Polish apples – a symbol of the Polish presidency and a reflection of the country’s rich heritage.
Adding to the significance of the occasion, the event saw the inauguration of an exhibition titled “The Europe We Share”. Curated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Polish Robert Schuman Foundation, the exhibition showcased the values that Poland shares with the European Union.
