Poland in India

The Polish delegation, headed by Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Republic of Poland in India, Dr Sebastian Domżalski, held meetings with Minister of Industries of Gujarat, Mr. Balvantsinh Rajput and representatives of local business, to discuss further engagement of Polish companies in Gujarat.

The Embassy of Poland together with Confederation of Indian Industries organized a seminar to promote Polish-Indian trade and investment. Embassy representatives presented support measures offered to Indian business interested in investment expansion to Poland as well as indicated prospective areas of bilateral collaboration. Polish companies presented technologies in the maritime infrastructure and automotive sectors, tailored to the needs of local partners. The event was an occasion to promote Podkarpackie region by Mr. Paweł Wais, Director for Regional Development at Marshal’s Office of Podkarpackie Voivodeship. Consul General of Poland in Mumbai, Dr Aleksander Dańda, highlighted historical & cultural relations between Poland and Gujarat. The event provided a platform for the exchange of knowledge and contacts, highlighting Poland's commitment to strengthen economic cooperation with India.
