The highlight of the reception was the unveiling of a commemorative logo marking the 70th anniversary, a gesture jointly performed by Mr. Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski, the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, and Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi,  the Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture of the Republic of India.

The reception offered guests the chance to try authentic Polish cuisine, featuring beloved dishes like pierogi, pancakes, and croquettes.

The evening's cultural highlight was a performance by Indian musician Ms. Tritha Sinha, renowned for her musical score for the documentary "Chitranjali," which explores the contributions of a renowned Polish artist, Mr. Stefan Norblin, in India.

Stefan Norblin was a famous Polish artist (1892-1952), who escaped the turmoil of World War II, travelling from Warsaw through Romania, Turkey, and Iraq to India. Welcomed by local maharajas, he produced extraordinary artwork that blended European Art Deco with Indian mythological motifs. Among his most celebrated works in India are the murals at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, which bring to life scenes from the Hindu epic "Ramayana.

The reception drew approximately 150 guests from the diplomatic corpus, business and culture representatives, and members of the Polish diaspora.
